Sage Classroom
Our Little Crawlers
In the Infant Classroom, we implement a primary caregiving model, where each teacher focuses his/her care and attention on up to three children. Each primary caregiver supports the parent-child transition to and from school, supports and tracks needs throughout the day, helps the child with most of their diapering, sleeping, and eating needs, and serves as a secure base from which to explore.
The daily schedule is based on reading children’s cues and meeting their individual needs. The essential caregiving curriculum of napping, eating, diapering, and playing happen as needed for different children at different times throughout the day. It is these essential and primary needs of the children that give consistent opportunity for caregivers to engage and interact with each child. The rest of the learning curriculum evolves as teachers carefully observe the interests of the children and regularly implementing new activities and materials to help them explore their curiosity further, adding new challenges to their ways of thinking and processing the world.
By giving children first experiences in a multitude of planned activities, meaningful teacher child interactions, and providing a stimulating learning environment, all elements of development are supported.

Marigold Classroom
Our Little Climbers
For 24-36 month old children, we offer our Toddler Classroom. This program progresses into a group care model, with a 1:5 teacher to child average ratio. Teachers set up a range of activities, both inside our dynamic play-based classroom and outdoors, in our tranquil and green outdoor space. The teachers provide many opportunities for hands-on learning through emergent play-based curriculum inspired by the children’s interest. Our Toddler program focuses on gross motor skill development with the use of Pikler Triangles, balance beams as well as multiple other play-based elements. With a heavy focus on Reggio Emilia, we introduce various natural textures to stimulate curiosity, creativity and problem solving.
By extending children’s first experiences into more complex planned activities, and fostering more structured social development with peers, all elements of development are supported.
Terracotta Classroom
Our Little Explorers
Preschool Classrooms allow for a balance between free-choice play time and more structured project time as 3-4 year old children have entered the capacity for more complex learning at this age. With a 1:8 teacher child ratio, teachers create intentional and diverse learning environments and group activities. Teachers plan consistent and responsive curriculum to the children’s experiences and interests. Teachers build in group gathering times, such as circle time, focused small group time, and snack. There is scheduled intentional and ample time, for child-directed play through art, music, books, storytelling, cooking, science, and nature exploration. Our children begin assisting in snack preparation to nurture their desire to be independent and helpful. All children are supported in resting after lunch, be it as a napper or doing quiet activities.

Forest Classroom
Our Little Engineers
The Pre-Kindergarten Classroom curriculum infuses early academic content as we strengthen skills needed for Kindergarten. The curriculum includes experiences with Language and Literacy, Math, Science, and The Arts. Our Lead Teachers set goals for the school year and the curriculum emerges with input and ideas from children, teachers, and families. Projects include STEAM, gardening, building/construction, cooking and more. As we approach all learning, we challenge the children (and ourselves) to take an inquiry stance and to explore and question the world around them through multiple modalities, including both play-based and more soundly structured experiences.
